Auditions for Student Tellers

Student teller auditions are held every year in the spring. After an extensive review process, a limited number of student tellers are selected each year to share their storytelling expertise with audiences during the Festival. Student tellers who are selected to participate in the Lone Star Storytelling Festival are given extensive training from library staff to enhance their storytelling capabilities and ensure their success on the storytelling stage in October. Introducing the 2009 Student Tellers

Auditions for student tellers for the 2009 Lone Star Storytelling Festival were held this past April. Fifteen tellers were selected to participate and we invite you to enjoy their performance during the Saturday daytime concerts.
