These tellers bring international telling experience, numerous awards and commendations, and a great sense of fun to their shows. Willy Claflin |

Whether you’re old enough to remember the Smother’s Brothers or young enough to worry about monsters under the bed, you’ll enjoy Willy Claflin’s brand of humor. This Harvard educated storyteller is known for his love of stories and the absurd. As a classroom teacher in the 70’s, he developed puppet characters as part of his creative curriculum. Maynard Moose is still with him today, helping him tell hilarious fractured fairy tales and more. Willy has been featured at national and regional storytelling festivals and has won numerous awards for his recordings, including the Parent’s Choice Gold Award and the American Library Association’s award for notable children’s recordings. In his spare time, Willy is known for saving endangered squeaking rubber animals.

David Novak |

Once a master storyteller for the Disney Institute in Orlando, Florida, David Novak is one of the nation’s leading performers in the craft of storytelling. He comes to the storytelling stage with a background in theater arts, clowning, creative dramatics, playwriting and directing. He is an expert in the art of mime and is known for magically turning everyday objects into tools for telling tales. Smithsonian Magazine describes him as, “a gifted teller who enhances his stories with a bag of tricks.”

Sue Roseberry

Sue Roseberry brings characters to life from childhood memories, pages of books, slavery. Her performances mix inspirational stories and music to the delight of all ages. She has written more than 200 musical pieces and is a recorded Gospel singer. She has performed at the National Storytelling Festival in Jonesborough, Tennessee.

Antonio Sacre |

Antonio Sacre, an internationally touring storyteller, writer, and solo performance artist based in Los Angeles, has been featured at the Kennedy Center, the National Storytelling Festival, and festivals worldwide. He has three books published and his recordings have won numerous awards, including the American Library Association Notable Recipient Award and the Parent’s Choice Gold Award. He draws from an extensive repertoire that includes folk tales, myths and legends from Spanish speaking countries, especially Mexico.
